Katherine Marie "Kathy" Lynch

Katherine “Kathy” Marie Lynch, age 54, of Buffalo passed away near her home on Saturday, July 21, 2018. She was born in Fairfax, Virginia on November 13, 1963. She was a homemaker and had lived in Buffalo for about 23 years, having moved there from Coldspring, Texas. Kathy was raised in the Baptist faith. Her family was the center of her world and she spent much time with her family and her friends.

Kathy was well loved by her family and friends. She had a sweet and happy personality and a good sense of humor. She enjoyed reading and working puzzles. She loved to go “antiquing” with her daughters (AKA “dumpster diving”). Kathy could find “treasures” in so many places. She also loved animals...especially dogs and, at the time of her death, she had four “fur babies” whose names are Aspen, Gracie, Gemma and Dan Dan.

Kathy’s surviving family includes her husband, Will Lynch of Buffalo, Texas; parents, Ray and Carolyn Thibodaux of Round Rock, Texas; son, Michael Lynch (Kristina) of Franklin, Texas; three daughters, Jeanette Gurley (Kenny) of Tomball, Texas, Amber Lynch (Cole Sindelar) of Buffalo, Texas and Lisa Campbell (Lee) of Splendora, Texas; a brother, Bobby Thibodaux (Whitney Briscoe) of Austin, Texas; a sister, Vanessa Chavers (Jerry) of Austin, Texas and five grandchildren, Jakhob Cangemi, Leela Campbell, Gavin Lynch, Rush Gurley and Leeland Campbell. Kathy is also survived by a brother, Brent Woolums (Andrea) of Argyle, Texas; sisters, Tracy Rawls (Larry) of Pflugerville, Texas, Leslie Hatcher (John) of Austin, Texas and Joyce Stafford (Brian) of Leona, Texas; three god-daughters, Bradlie Crowley, Shalyn Cotton and Maci Hoffman and many nieces and nephews.

A visitation for Kathy Lynch will be held from 6 PM until 8PM on Friday evening, July 27, 2018 at the Walter’s Buffalo Funeral Home in Buffalo and a funeral service is scheduled for 11 AM, Saturday, July 28, 2018 at the First Baptist Church in Buffalo. Rev. Alan Grisham, pastor of the church will officiate.

Serving as pallbearers: Bobby Thibodaux, Allen Sullivan, Chad Wood, Gene Pruitt, Chris Hoffman and Clayton Hays.
