Eddie Ray Rosner

Eddie Ray Rosner was born October 21, 1952 in Hearne, Texas. His parents were Steve and Mary (Phillips) Rosner. He served his country in the U. S. Army.

Eddie was ordained to the work of “The Gospel Ministry” on April 10, 1988 at the Flint Baptist Church. He and his wife, Sue Ann, were married on March 23, 1997 in Shreveport, Louisiana. They lived in Oakwood, Texas. They owned and operated the Oakwood Feed Store and Café for many years. Sue said that her husband was the true meaning of “An American Patriot Christian man.” The “goodness” of Eddie Rosner was to be found in the teaching he received at his Grandmother’s knee.

Eddie passed away on February 9, 2018 in Tyler, Texas. He was preceded in death by his father, Steve Rosner; brothers, Randy Rosner and Steven Rosner; and by two daughters, Penny and Melody. Surviviors include his wife, Sue Ann Rosner; his mother, Mary Rosner; children, Mathew Rosner, Olivia Rogal and Belinda Muellen; eight grandchildren and numerous other relatives and friends.

A memorial service will be held at 11AM, Saturday, February 17, 2018 at the Oakwood Memorial Baptist Church. Rev. Walter Pickens will officiate. A graveside service with military funeral honors provided by the U.S. Army will follow in the Buffalo Cemetery in Buffalo, Texas.
