Harry Baker Ferguson, age 79, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 24, 2019. He was born November 15, 1939 in Streetman, Texas to Wayne and Agnes Ferguson as a twin brother to Larry Bonner Ferguson. They were delivered by Dr. Bonner and a midwife named Marie Baker at home each weighing 9+ pounds. To honor the doctor and Mrs. Baker, they were given their names.

Harry left home at fifteen to begin work on the construction of Interstate 45. This job brought him to Buffalo where he met and married the love of his life, Glenda Long Ferguson. They raised two children here, Paul Dale and Pam. Harry went by many names, but his favorite were “Daddy” and “Pops”. He loved his children and grandchildren immensely. Harry was a die-hard Dallas Cowboys fan and could be found in front of his TV on Sunday afternoons cheering them on. He was a charmer and loved that he reminded people of the Marlboro man.He was a hard worker, a wonderful provider and a long time dedicated employee of A.L. Helmcamp.

Harry was preceded in death by his wife, Glenda; parents, Agnes and Wayne; brother Garland; twin brother, Larry; sister, Edwin Ruth and infant brother, Billy Ray. He is survived by his son, Paul Dale and wife, Renee Ferguson, of Buffalo, daughter, Pam and husband, Ernie Ferguson, also of Buffalo; grandchildren, Jared Ferguson, Colton Ferguson, Katee Sullivan, Karlee Bell, Kylan Ferguson, Gracie Ferguson and Gabbie Ferguson; great-grandchildren Drennan, Elliot and Rory Sullivan, Emerson Bell, Carter Ferguson, and Indie Richbourg; sister, Peggy Blancett of Corsicana, Texas.
