Jane Allbritton

Jane Allbritton, 85, of Buffalo, Texas, passed away Friday, February 5, 2021 at her home in Buffalo. She was born April 27, 1935 in Louisville, Kentucky and lived most of her life in Leon County, Texas.

Jane was an employee of the Weathervane restaurant in Buffalo where she filled many jobs from waitressing and cooking to managing various positions. She enjoyed fishing, playing the lottery and being outdoors and especially enjoyed watching her grandchildren play sports.

Jane was preceded in death by her husband, Augie Lee Allbritton, Sr. & youngest son, Augie Lee "Sonny" Allbritton, Jr. She is survived by son, Donald (Cindy) Allbritton of Jewett; daughters, Sherry Allbritton of Buffalo and Linda (Terry) Skains of Palestine; sister, Francis; eight grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held 2 P.M., Sunday, February 7, 2021 at Buffalo Cemetery. Rev. Ray Grissett will officiate the service. A brief visitation will take place prior to the service from 12 Noon to 2 P.M. at the Walters' Buffalo Funeral Home, Buffalo, Texas.

Pallbearers: David Drees, Jeremy Drees, Jared Allbritton, James Carlisle, Clint Stewart, Terry Skains

Arrangements are under the direction of Walters' Buffalo Funeral Home, Buffalo, Texas.
