Ricky Wayne Barnett

Ricky Barnett was born on January 8th, 1956 in Fort Worth, Texas to J.V. and Norene (Hoyt) Barnett. He worked in the maintenance department with Jamak Fabrication, located in Weatherford, for over fifteen years. Ricky's hobbies included hunting, fishing and traveling to Buffalo to spend his weekends with family and love of the outdoors. He passed away on April 4th, 2021 following a courageous fight against cancer. Ricky was a loyal and devoted son, brother, uncle, cousin and friend and will be dearly missed by so many. He was preceded in death by both of his parents, J.V. and Norene Barnett.

Survivors include sisters, Karen Carlton and Linda Bower of Weatherford; nephew, Shawn Smelser; nieces, Mandy (Lawrence) Oliver and Kallie (Layne) Boxell and great nieces and nephews Nelson Oliver, Devin Smelser, Addy and Kinley Boxell.

Graveside services for Ricky will be held 11 A.M., Friday, April 9, 2021 at Parker Cemetery in the Flo Community of Leon County, Texas. Jackson Colwell will officiate the service.
