A graveside service for Susan Whited, age 53, of Jewett, Texas will be held 2 P.M., Friday, May 5, 2023 at Lummus Cemetery in the Flo Community of Leon County, Texas. Pastors Lorena Caballero and Antono Caballero will co-officiate the service. Visiting hours will be Thursday, May 4, 2023 from 6 P.M. to 8 P.M. at Walters' Buffalo Funeral Home, Buffalo, Texas.

Susan Lynn Whited was born June 17, 1969 in Fairfield, Texas to James & Lola (Penland) Whited. She was a lifelong resident of Leon County, Texas. Susan loved children and caring for them, as well as attending church on a regular basis. She also enjoyed visiting the flea market and doing yardwork. She had an extensive angel figurine collection and greatly loved her "furbabies." Susan passed away unexpectedly April 29, 2023 near Jewett, Texas.

Susan was preceded in death by both of her parents and sister, Nancy Whited.

Surviving family members include boyfriend and companion, Martinez Reyes of Jewett; daughters, Amanda Ramirez (Leonel) of Buffalo and Ana Gonzalez of Buffalo; sister, Brenda Morin of Buffalo; grandchildren, Leonel Ramirez, Jr., Alex Ramirez and Jose-Alfredo Ramirez, as well as first cousin, Gail LeGalley (Lance) of Jewett; niece, Malina Resendez of Buffalo and great nephew, Christopher Resendez.

Arrangements are under the direction of Walters' Buffalo Funeral Home, Buffalo, Texas.
