Virginia Sue Glass

Virginia Sue Glass, 82, of Buffalo, Texas passed away at her home on April 24, 2021. She was born on February 5, 1939 in Tishomingo, Oklahoma to Acie Bernard and Veda Helen (Brewer) Veal. Virginia is survived by her husband, William Wain Glass of Buffalo, Texas; son, Kirk A. Byers, Sr. of Channelview, Texas; daughter, Loretta Byers of Huntsville, Texas; grandchildren, Kirk A. Byers, Jr., Kaitlyn Guerra, Kara Sherfield, Kolleen Byers, Krista Byers, David W. Byers Jr., Denise Schuster, Danniel Morgan and Angelia Gilbreath; also, nine great-grandchildren.

Virginia was preceded in death by her son, David W. Byers, Sr.; brother, A.H. Veal; sisters, Margie “M.M.” Rothery and Anna L. Dearkland.

A visitation will be held for Virginia on Tuesday, April 27, 2021 from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Buffalo Funeral Home.

Funeral services will take place at Dew United Methodist Church on Wednesday, April 28, 2021 at 1:30 P.M., Rev. Curtis Matthys will officiate.

Pallbearers: David W. Byers Jr., Kirk A. Byers, Kaitlyn Guerra, Kara Sherfield, Kolleen Byers, Krista Byers.

Services are under the direct care of Walters’ Buffalo Funeral Home, Buffalo, Texas.
