Yolanda Vargas

Yolanda Vargas, age 59, of Buffalo, Texas went to be with her Heavenly Father on August 11, 2021. Yolanda was born to Eulegio and Antonia (Morales) Saldivar on October 20, 1961 in Zacatecas, Mexico. During her life, she enjoyed playing Mexican lottery, cooking and gathering with family and friends. She had a heart full of love and cherished every moment with her grandchildren.

Left to cherish her memory are her seven children, Maribel Vargas-Montano (Juan), Jaime Vargas (Suzanna), Israel Vargas (Ashley), Yuri Vargas (Lorenzo), Victor Vargas (Teresa), Yoli Vargas (Felipe) and Pedro Vargas; brothers, Luis Saldivar, Sccoroo “Coco” Saldivar, Manuel Saldivar, Izmael Saldivar, Jesus Saldivar; sisters, Martha Saldivar and Petra Saldivar; grandchildren, Brenda, John, Natalie, Ginger, Kevin, Danielle, Avery, Karly, Lorenzo, Yurit, Salvador, Victor Jr., Kinzy, Hector, Emma, Aldo, Zoey, Matteo and Felipe, Jr.

Yolanda was preceded in death by both of her parents; husband, Salvador Vargas; brothers, Jose, Samuel and Eduardo and sister, Maria.

A visitation for Yolanda will begin 2 P.M. and last until 7 P.M., Saturday, August 21, 2021 at Walters' Buffalo Funeral Home, Buffalo, Texas. A rosary will follow at 7 P.M. at the funeral home. Yolanda will be laid to rest in Lerdo, Durango, Mexico.
