Barbara Ann Lynn

Barbara Ann Lynn, passed peacefully on August 1, 2025, at the age of 78. Born on June 28, 1947, in Clovis, New Mexico, Barbara brought joy and warmth to everyone she met. A devoted daughter of Raymond and Myrtle Lorine (Milstead) White, she grew up with a spirit that shone bright, reflecting the values instilled in her from an early age.

Barbara completed cosmetology school but found her true calling in the bustling world of waitressing, a profession she embraced wholeheartedly throughout her life in various eating establishments. Her infectious laughter and friendly demeanor made her a favorite among her customers and colleagues, and she cherished the connections she built during her years of service.

In 2012, Barbara settled in Buffalo, Texas, where she could be close to her family. Here, she truly became the loving matriarch of her clan, indulging her passion for spending time with her grandchildren. Whether it was gathering around the table for a spirited game of cards or sharing stories over a lively game of bingo, those moments were dear to her heart.

A firm believer in her Baptist faith, Barbara carried her spirituality with grace, finding comfort in her beliefs and the love of her family.

She leaves behind her beloved children, Loren (Brian) Chase of Flo, Sheana (Larry) Delmont of Buffalo, Billy (Becky) McCoy of Texaco, New Mexico, and George (Tanya) McCoy of Willis; adored grandchildren, Jesse (Rachel) Solley, Luke (Alley) Solley, Joseph Harringer, Charlie (Leigh) Harringer, Brock Solley, Christopher (Susan) Solley, Ryan (Danielle) Solley, Ashleigh Harringer, Kason Harringer, Madison Harringer, Paxton Harringer, Clay Rivera, Tyler McCoy, Tannah McCoy, Taylor McCoy, Addy York, Cody Singer, Anthony Singer, and Haylee Shivers; several great-grandchildren; and special friend, Kathleen Lynn, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family who will forever hold in their hearts the memories and lessons imparted by Barbara.

A memorial service is planned for a future date.
