Obituary
Della Graham Baker passed away May 7, 2024, at the age of ninety-three. She was born June 28, 1930, to Jim B. and Dollie (Holland) Graham in Freestone County. She had a wonderful life. She graduated from Buffalo High School and moved to Houston in 1947. She was first married to Robert E. Davis, Jr. and then to Rudolph Baker. She graduated from St. Mary's University and then Southern Methodist University and was employed in many positions during her career. She retired from government work and returned to Buffalo in 1981, and lived there until her death.
Della is survived by her sister, Betty Lou Godby of Monroe, Louisiana and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Robert E. Davis, Jr. and Rudolph Baker; brothers, Bill, Joe and James Graham; and sisters, Coella Moore, Mabel Kate Baker, JoAnn Davis, Mary Scholnemann and Helen Rommel.
A graveside service honoring Della's life will be held 11 A.M., Friday, May 10, 2024, at Buffalo Cemetery, Buffalo, Texas. Chaplain Christy Nicholson will officiate the service.
Final arrangements are entrusted to Walters' Buffalo Funeral Home, Buffalo, Texas.
