Judith Ilene "Judy" Barrilleaux

Judith Ilene "Judy" Barrilleaux, 78, of Buffalo, Texas passed away on May 17, 2024 in Palestine, Texas. She was born on January 23, 1946 in Baytown, Texas to Jessie Warren Sparks and Louella Pearl (Stephenson) Sparks-Crocker. Judy had a natural green thumb just like her mother, and she kept her flowerbeds beautiful and well maintained. She liked to travel with her late husband, Lionel, Sr. Genealogy sparked an interest and became a main hobby of hers along with drawing and painting.

Judy was preceded in death by both of her parents; husband, Lionel Earl Barrilleaux, Sr.; and sister, Claudine. She is survived by her daughter, Rhonda K. Johnson; son, Lionel Barrilleaux, Jr. (Rhonda A.); grandchildren, Stacy Johnson and Tristan Barrilleaux; sisters, Katherine Cofer and Nelda Davis; and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.

A funeral service for Judy will be held at 11 A.M., Monday, May 20, 2024 at Walters' Buffalo Funeral Home, Buffalo, Texas. Bro. Johnny Veretto will officiate the service. Interment will follow in Keechi Cemetery. Visitation will take place from 10 A.M. until time of the service.
