Lacy Key, III, 81, went to be with his Lord on Saturday, August 11, 2024. Lacy was born on December 19, 1942, in San Antonio, Texas. A long time Houston resident, he was a member of Champion Forest Baptist and a graduate of the University of Houston. He is survived by his loving wife of sixty-one years, Shirley Key; daughter, Phyllis Tatum (Jimmy); son, Michael Key (Lori); and grandchildren, Christopher Tatum, Aaron Key and Kathryn Key.

Lacy was preceded in death by both of his parents and his brother, Norman Wayne Key.

A funeral service for Lacy will be at 1 P.M., Thursday, August 15, 2024, at Walters' Buffalo Funeral Home, Buffalo, Texas. Jim Tatum will officiate the service. Interment will follow in Buffalo Cemetery.
