Laura Lou Zimmerman

Memorial services for Laura Lou Zimmerman, age 67, will be held 10 A.M., Tuesday, October 13, 2020 at Walters' Buffalo Funeral Home in Buffalo, Texas. John Johnston will officiate the service.

Laura Lou Zimmerman was born July 26, 1953 in Houston, Texas to Ernest, Jr. & Avis Joan (Jones) Lynn. She passed away October 9, 2020 in Waco, Texas.

Laura was preceded in death by both of her parents, Ernest W. Lynn, Jr. & Avis Joan Hennesey; step-father, Paul Hennesey; brothers, Ernest W. Lynn, III and Clayton Charles Lynn; daughters, Candace Joan Hart and Erinna Michelle Zimmerman; nephews, Greg Taylor and Jamie Zimmerman and four grandchildren.

Surviving family includes, husband, George William Zimmereman; sister, Linda Lou (Lawrence) Taylor; son, Ernest Shawn (Vicki) Zimmerman; daughters, Rebecca Ruth (Roy) Chitwood and Joanna Lynn (Dennis, "D.P.") Crook; step-daughter, Tami Gail (Shawn Hall); grandchildren, Tiffany Johnson, Nathaniel Petty, Martha Negron, Moriah Zimmerman, Laura Whitney Dominguez, Mickie Chitwood, Hannah Chitwood, Emily Hart, George Zimmerman, Dylan Crook and Shianne Crook, as well as, fifteen great-grandchildren. Laura is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and those who called her friend and "mom."

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
