Mark Buford Cooper

Mark Buford Cooper, 72, of Buffalo, Texas passed away on June 23, 2025, in Buffalo, Texas. He was born on January 10, 1953, to Mark Allen & Sara (Harrell) Cooper in Rusk, Texas.

Mark found great joy riding motorcycles and cherished his experiences volunteering for PG Missions. His intellectual curiosity shone through in his work as a technician in the education industry, where his skills in working with computers left a lasting impact on those around him. Possessing a deep and unwavering faith, Mark loved Jesus and embodied his teachings in every aspect of his life.

Nothing brought Mark more happiness than spending time with his family. He relished moments at the baseball field, cheering for the Texas Rangers alongside his son, Cody Cooper. Mark was also a devoted grandfather.

Mark was preceded in death by both of his parents and daughter, Janet Florey. He is survived by his son, Cody Cooper; uncle, Gary Cooper; sister, Cythia Henson; grandchildren, Eden and Adylen Cooper; nieces, Sara and Vanita; nephews, Addison and Garrett Florey; along with numerous extended family.

Services will be held at a later date.
