Michael Dean Landers

Michael Dean Landers passed away in his home in Oakwood, Texas on November 29, 2023.

He is survived by his wife, Marilyn (Cowan) Landers; biological children, Michael Jason Landers his wife, Miranda Landers and Crystal Landers; grandson, Damian Joe Martinez Landers; granddaughter, Lauren Dodd; two great-grandchildren; brothers, Ricky Landers and wife, Sunny Landers and Lloyd Landers and wife, Sherry Landers, as well as countless nieces and nephews who loved Mike.

Mike was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Delmar Landers and Bobby Jo Landers Cobb; brother, Joe Landers; and step-son, Kurt Burnett.

Mike was born September 7, 1954 and raised in Palestine, Texas. He was a loving husband and father and had numerous friends that loved him. He was also an active involved member of AA for twenty-one years and seven months. His hobbies were helping people in his community, mowing, bar-b-que, socializing, and being together with loved ones and family.

A celebration of life will be held from 2 P.M. to 6 P.M., December 30, 2023 at Nickel Manor, 501 Avenue A, Palestine, Texas 75801. Parking is available on the street or behind the building.  Bring your best memories. A pot luck meal will also be served.

Mike was loved by all and will be dearly missed.
