Minnie Reese went to be with the Lord on February 13, 2026, at age 93, in Palestine Texas. She was born September 25,1932, to Clifton T. Green and Bessie (Connell) Green in Buffalo, Texas. Minnie married at an early age to Bobby J. Reese. They were married for seven years and had one child Bobby W. Reese of Buffalo, Texas. She then married Leonard C. Varner and was married for twenty-two years before they divorced. They had three children, Debbie Varner from Marble Falls and Calvin Varner and Tammie Bruce, both from Buffalo, Texas. She then remarried Bobby J. Reese, again and were married for twenty-six years. Minnie was proceeded in death by both of her parents; brothers, James Green, Clifton Green Jr, and Leslie Green; and sister Ruby Lynch.

Minnie lived most of her life as a mother and Nana. She loved her family very much.  She also loved gardening and working in her yard. She was a hunter and a fisherman.

She is survived by her four four children, nine grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren with one on-the-way.

A funeral service to celebrate Minnie's life will be held 10 A.M., Monday, February 16, 2026, at Walters' Buffalo Funeral Home, Buffalo, Texas. Jackie Thomason will officiate the service.  Interment will follow in Lummus Cemetery.  At the conclusion of the service, a meal will be served at the Church of Christ Fellowship Hall in Buffalo, Texas.  A time of visitation will take place Sunday, February 15, 2026, from 4 P.M. to 6 P.M. at the funeral home.
