Patricia Darlene Moon

Patricia Darlene Moon, affectionately known as Trish, passed away peacefully on December 14, 2025, in Buffalo, Texas, at the age of 68. She was born on December 10, 1957, in Fitzgerald, Georgia, and spent her life as a dedicated and beloved member of her community.

Trish was a proud graduate of Buffalo High School, class of 1975. For many years, she was the owner and operator of Trish's Texas Star Diner, a cherished establishment in Centerville, Texas, that served as a gathering place for many. Her warmth and hospitality were felt by all who entered, creating a legacy that will be remembered fondly by those fortunate enough to experience her cooking and the joyful atmosphere she cultivated.

Throughout her life, Trish had an unwavering devotion to her family. She is survived by her loving son, Andy Stevens (Ashley) of Buffalo, and her adored granddaughter, Autumn Coryn Stevens. She was also blessed to have seen the arrival of her great-grandchild, Lawson Tate Stevens, whose laughter brought immense joy to her heart. Trish held dear the memories made with her siblings, Robin Hargrove Ferguson, Ricky Hargrove (Pam), Wayne Hargrove, and Denise Hargrove Gay (C.W.), often cherishing the time spent together.

Trish was a longtime resident of Buffalo and a faithful member of Bethel Baptist Church, where her spirit and generosity touched the lives of many. She derived great happiness from her hobbies-enjoying spirited games of cornhole and horseshoes, and taking pleasure in collecting small stones and rocks, each holding a special memory or significance for her.

Trish was preceded in death by her beloved parents, William "Bill" and Betty Jo (Beavers) Hargrove, and her devoted husband, Kenneth Moon. Her legacy lives on in the hearts of her family, including numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and special friends, who will remember her kind heart, infectious laughter, and the love she shared so freely.

As we honor the life of Patricia Darlene Moon, we celebrate a remarkable woman whose light will continue to shine brightly in the memories of all who knew and loved her. Her spirit will remain a guiding force for her family and friends, a reminder of the profound impact she had in their lives.
