Phillip Beshears, age 68, of Buffalo, Texas passed away peacefully January 16, 2024 in Centerville, Texas. A memorial service celebrating his life will be held 10 A.M., Saturday, January 20, 2024 at Walters' Buffalo Funeral Home, Buffalo, Texas. Bro. Johnny Veretto will officiate the service.


Phillip Reuben Beshears was born October 29, 1955 in Lake Charles, Louisiana to Reuben Monroe & Bonnie Evelyn (Rade) Beshears. When he was young, his family moved extensively due to his father's service in the U.S. military. Once settled in Buffalo, Texas, Phillip remained a lifelong resident and owner of Carbsmith Carburetors. He did a lot of work on drag racing vehicles and enjoyed the sport immensely. Phillip was also an avid gun enthusiast and outdoorsman and loved deer hunting.


Phillip was preceded in death by both of his parents. He will be remembered by son, Christopher Enloe (Misti) of Pasadena; brothers, Arty Beshears of Buffalo and Jeff Beshears (Melanie) of Buffalo; sister, Sheila Beshears West of Buffalo; grandchildren, Christopher Anthony Enloe and Hannah Nicole Enloe; and great-grandchild, River Jaxon Enloe, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.


In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Parkinson's Foundation, 200 SE 1st Street, Suite 800, Miami, FL 33131.


Arrangements are under the direction of Walters' Buffalo Funeral Home, Buffalo, Texas.
