Rebecca Louise Ashford

Rebecca Louise Ashford, 70, of Buffalo, Texas passed away on November 11, 2023 in Tyler, Texas. She was born on November 7, 1953 in Crowley, Louisiana. Rebecca was a hunter and fisherman who always loved a fresh manicure and watching waves at the beach. She loved her family, especially the grandkids, all of who held a very special place in her heart.

Rebecca was preceded in death by her mother, Georgie Chachere and three grandchildren, Justin Miller, Garrett Taylor and Emily Pleasant. She is survived by her husband, Michael Ashford of Buffalo, Texas; son, Michael Ashford of Buffalo, Texas; daughters, Angela Miller of Tomball, Texas, Mona Ashford of Lufkin, Texas, Marsha Pleasant of Pollok, Texas, and Tammy Patterson of Tomball, Texas; sister, Suzette Leleu of Cecilia, Louisiana; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A funeral service for Rebecca will be held at 11 A.M., Friday, November 17, 2023 at Walters' Buffalo Funeral Home, Buffalo, Texas. Pastor Lloyd Lane will officiate the service. Interment will follow in Buffalo Cemetery. A time of visitation and fellowship will take place Thursday, November 16, 2023 from 6 P.M. to 8 P.M. at the funeral home.
