Donovan West, age 46, of Buffalo, Texas passed away peacefully at his home near Buffalo on May 14, 2024. He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents and a special cousin, Nick, whom Donovan often shared special conversations with about each of their possible deaths.
Donovan is survived by his dear mother, Sheila Beshears, who he affectionately referred to as "Queen Bee;" his father, Billy West; brothers, Dusty West of Springtown and Brandon West of Lubbock; as well as numerous cousins and friends, including special cousin, Barbara Waters.
Donovan was born May 20, 1977 in Teague, Texas. He was a 1995 graduate of Buffalo High School. He never judged anyone and had many friends, especially the Brookshire Brothers employees, most recently. Donovan was baptized when he was fifteen years old and prayed often.
His mamma deeply misses her "middle child," as Donovan called himself!
A funeral service honoring Donovan's life will be held 10 A.M., Saturday, May 18, 2024 at Walters' Buffalo Funeral Home, Buffalo, Texas. Bro. Johnny Veretto will officiate the service. A private interment will follow at a later date in the Buffalo Cemetery, Buffalo, Texas. A brief visitation will be held prior to the service from 9 A.M. to service time at the funeral home.
