Vina Nellwyn "Nell" (Shaw) Bibb

Memorial services for Vina Nellwyn (Shaw) Bibb will be held at the Corinth Baptist Church in Dew, Texas on Saturday, January 7, 2023 at 10 A.M. Pastor of the Church, Carl Clark, will officiate the service.

Vina Nellywn (Shaw) Bibb was born June 19, 1937 to Samuel King and Vera Bell (Luce) Shaw. Nell passed away at her home in Dew, Texas on December 30, 2022 at the sweet age of eighty-five years. Nell joins her parents; along with her husband, Jack Bibb; her sisters, Bonnie Beth Moore, Anita Joyce Messer and Willie Mae "Prunie" Wilson and her youngest brother, Charles Royce Shaw, Sr. in death.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her older brother and sister-in-law, Samuel David, Sr. and Frances Shaw, numerous nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, many cousins and lots of friends. She also leaves behind her beloved fur baby, "Buster."

Nell worked many years for Jim Walters Home and retired there. She and her husband, Jack, spent their life together in Tampa, Florida. Upon the death of her husband, Nell made the decision to return home to her roots in Texas to be closer to her brother and the rest of her family. She loved family and had a special relationship with each of them. Nell loved all of the family get-togethers and all the great food that was shared. There were some other things that she enjoyed, such as going to the salon and getting her hair fixed. She was also the candy maker of the family, and made the best "Almond Joys" that you would ever sink your teeth into. She was also a lifelong Dallas Cowboys fan and loved watching the games. But most importantly was her church. Nell was a member of the Corinth Baptist Church and absolutely loved attending and loved all of her church family.
