Willie "Frances" Rogers

Willie "Frances" Denman Rogers, born July 12, 1939, in Grimes County, near the community of Cross, Texas. She received Christ and was baptized at the Willowhole Baptist Church and was a long-time member of First Baptist Church Buffalo.


She went home to be with the Lord on January 8, 2023 in Bryan, Texas.


She was preceded in death by her mother, Leona Denman; father, Willie Clinton Denman; brother, Henry Clinton Denman; brother, Billy Mac Denman; sister, Toni Wesson; sister, Deyon Denman.


Frances served as a certified dietitian for the Klein ISD and many community organizations throughout Leon county.


She is survived by her husband of sixty-four years, Robert Rogers of Buffalo, Texas; son, Craig Rogers of Kingsville, Texas; daughter, Ava Cook of Tomball, Texas; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; sister, Lockie Aleksick of Conroe, Texas; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and aunts.


A funeral service for Willie "Frances" Rogers will be held 10 A.M., Saturday, January 14, 2023 at Buffalo Funeral Home, Buffalo, Texas. Interment will follow at Cross Cemetery, Iola, Texas. A public visitation will take place the evening of Friday, January 13, from 6 P.M. to 8 P.M. at the funeral home. Speakers include Billy Walters, Bro. Alan Gresham, Craig Rogers and Charlie Rogers.


Pallbearers: Maurice Cook, Bill Denman, Walter Aleksick, Marvin Wesson, Mike Bardin, Brandon Mackay


Honorary Pallbearers: Scott Hutton, Tom Campebell


Arrangements are under the direction of Walters' Buffalo Funeral Home, Buffalo, Texas.
